All services offered by Momentum Counseling are trauma-informed, HAES-aligned, and LGBTQ+ friendly. Virtual sessions are open to individuals anywhere in the state of Virginia.
Individual Therapy: Individual therapy sessions are available to adolescents ( 16+) and adults. Areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, body image, eating disorders, and gender identity. Individual therapy can be done virtually anywhere in Virginia or in-person in Ivy.

Groups: Fees and insurance status vary by group. Please see the Groups page for information about current offerings.
Trans Affirming Care: Our practice can offer assessments for letters of support for trans-affirming care. A Virtual Intake and 2 60-minute sessions are required for this service. The fee is $155 per session, insurance accepted.
Insurance: Licensed practitioners accept Anthem BCBS commercial plans directly. We work with Headway to accept United, Oscar, and Aetna Insurance.
Good Faith Estimates: You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the charges you will incur during treatment. This will vary based on insurance status and number of sessions.
